ABOUT US
BES educator (BES) provides high-quality, specialized education-related services to School Districts which may not have the internal capacity, time or expertise to provide such services themselves.
Our pre-qualified and/or certified educators and experts can meet the varied needs of School Districts in a wide range of areas. All of our personnel are assigned to meet the specific requirements of a District’s needs. Each assigned member of our staff has the full support of the company to assure the satisfaction of our clients.
Three well known educators serve as BES Corporate Officers who oversee all aspects of the services provided. Tom Sweeney Jr., a former School Superintendent, Elaine J, Ruggieri, former Title I, ESL Director and Reading Consultant and Dr. Marie C. DiBiasio, former Director of Curriculum and Instruction at the Rhode Island Department of Education and also Dean, School of Education, Roger Williams University, are responsible for selecting, assigning and evaluating all BES personnel. Each client will get individual attention to assure that the services contracted by a district meet the highest possible degree of success.
Supplemental Educational Services (SES)
Under the federal law (No Child Left Behind/NCLB) schools that receive Title I funds and are low-performing must offer their students school choice and a supplemental program apart from the school day. BES has developed a program of qualified, certified teachers who will be supervised and monitored by master teachers to provide supplemental educational services in reading/language arts, oral English and mathematics. The program will be aligned with the school or district’s curriculum and will meet state standards. These services will be provided on the school site after school hours, Saturdays or during the summer.
After School Programs (In-House Tutoring)
BES is prepared to offer after-school tutoring programs in reading/language arts and mathematics. Schools or School Districts can contract with BES to implement these programs for students at risk of not meeting standards, or to offer these programs to parents who wish to help their children meet or surpass standards being set by the State.
BES services are available in the following areas:
- Interim Administrators
- Grant Writing
- Project Consultant
- School Committee Policy Handbooks
- Nationwide Administrator Searches
- Professional Development Services
